Phone Storage
Reach your Android phone's internal storage from inside an Andronix Linux distro at /sdcard, and share other folders with the distro.
This page shows how to reach your phone's internal storage from inside your Linux distro. On distros from Andronix 2.0, it's one command in Termux.
Storage on a new install
Distros from Andronix 2.0 share your phone's internal storage at /sdcard automatically. Termux just needs permission to read it.
Give Termux storage access
In Termux (not inside the distro), run:
termux-setup-storageTermux will now ask for Storage permission. Allow the Storage permission.
Restart the distro
If the distro is running, exit it and start it again, for example with ./start-debian.sh.
Check
Inside the distro, run ls /sdcard. You should see your phone's folders, like Download and DCIM.
Sharing other folders
To share another Termux folder with the distro, add a line to a file in ~/<distro>-binds/ in Termux, the same way as with the pre-2.0 installer. For example, to make Termux's ~/projects folder appear at /projects in Debian:
mkdir -p ~/debian-binds
echo 'command+=" -b /data/data/com.termux/files/home/projects:/projects"' > ~/debian-binds/projects.shRestart the distro for the change to take effect.
Sound
Sound from your Andronix distro plays through the phone's speakers automatically. How it works, and what to check if you hear nothing.
Back Up and Restore
Save a whole Andronix distro to one file on your phone's storage, restore it later or on another phone, with andronix backup and andronix restore.
